- Delivery– if you require the building to be delivered to the rear garden, please advise of any difficulties such as overhead obstructions, walls, hedges etc. Failure in not having clear access will result in an additional charge. It is the responsibility of the customer to notify Weatherley Fencing at the point of ordering if the building needs to be taken through the house, as not all sheds will go through a conventional doorway therefore further costs may be involved. Employees of Weatherley Fencing will not risk injury by lifting sheds over obstacles. - Site Preparation For The Erection Service– it is the responsibility of the customer to ensure that the site is safe and free from obstructions that may cause injury to the fitters that deliver and erect the buildings. If the building is damaged due to poor access this is the customers responsibility.
- Weatherley Fencing will not accept liability for any damage caused by the customer in self- installation.
- Weatherley Fencing will not be held responsible for problems arising due to any faults in existing base work. Also we will not be responsible for any damage caused by adverse weather conditions. As timber is a natural product we can not be held responsible for cracks, warping, wane, shrinkage, knots, movement in the timber or seepage of moisture and water in our buildings. We can not also be held liable for variations in colour of treatment or timber, as timber will naturally bleach in the sun, and then an even colour will occur. It is the customers responsibility to ensure that any existing base is firm, level and of adequate size to take the building.
- If water penetration occurs then a waterproof paint or stain should be applied.
- All shed’s & summerhouses are sold for primary use as outdoor storage, and would not be advised to be used as a habitable environment.
